Really?!?! Thanks for the info! When I called about the print they said it was $930!...but then again he was quoting a 6ft stretched canvas. I will definitely look into the other sizes etc! Thanks a billion, you just made my day :)

Hello Robin,

Thanks for the kind words! I haven't updated this site in ages, it was a surprise to get an e-mail notification from it. There actually are all different sizes and types of prints available of this image. Time Frame should have all the info there, there's even a 15x38" poster that is really quite inexpensive but turned out very well.

Thanks again, all the best,

Chris

This pano is absolutely beautiful. I was driving by the TimeFrame gallery at Seymour and Robson and I literally stopped the car because I loved it so much. I wish I could afford it or it came in a print format that I could buy and frame and put up in my home!

you've got a great eye for composition, chris. I like how the lights along the bridge & in the reflection act as a frame for the piece. Again, wonderful warm lighting & colours here. Night photography isn't easy & you're capturing the beauty there really well.

great shot, chris. Really strong composition, & the colours set against the dark shadow areas create a really dynamic photo. I guess you used a tripod? I lived in vancouver until i was 23 or so, so your photos really take me back! Great shots - keep them coming! & welcome to usefilm. :O)

Hi Chris,
The DOF at this time must have been very short. So I find that the rocks in the foreground being in focus rather then the skyline in the distance forcing my eyes down a bit. Also there doesn't seem to be anything in particular that pops out along the buildings that grabs my eye enough to pull me into your photo. The overall ambiance of this photo is wonderful. the subtle colors and sparkling lights are exciting. the boathouses in the mid ground are unlit and in the middle of the shot. Being unlit they stop my visual exploration somewhat.
Keep posting !!! love seeing your stuff online!

Cheer, Tim

Hi Chris,
This is another good photo!
I like your composition very much. One thing though, I find that my eye goes to the lights on top and bottom of youe image, distracting me from the more central focus of the line of boats. You could, with PS, enhance the interest of the boats by creating more contrast and bightness in that area. I gave it a quick try, as an example. see below.
Cheers, Tim

Excellent shot, ChRiS. See, even spelled it right. Your lighting is perfect giving such a golden hue. I like the starlight filter as well.
