This is a wonderful photo, Rachel! You sure caught the wave at its apex - and the little girl is certainly poised to jump right in! It reminds me of when my Mom used to take me down to the Ocean City, NJ when I was a little girl just like in this picture.

Again, wonderful! Did you use the same little girl and just superimpose her in the picture so it looks like two little girls, or is it *really* two little girls? Love the sepia and the vignette! Precious!

Wonderful and amazing! You've done a really great job here with this portrait. I love that the little girl is off to the left instead of dead center - very effective! How did you get the fade out effect around her white dress to fade to the white background? Just excellent! I wouldn't want to see a border of any kind around it; I think it would spoil the effect you've achieved here.

Actually, Margaret, the air was a whole lot more pleasant than the ground - it was pitch black ("It was a dark and stormy night..." ;-D ) when we landed, and the rain was coming down in sheets. The traffic was terrible in places, and I was on contant lookout for a tornado (which we never saw, thank the Lord!) I was very relieved when we finally arrived at our home and got inside!
