Great shot, the town looks like it could be out of a movie, like dracula or something. i love this shot. The only downfall i feel is the tree in the middle is a little distracting. I would probably clone this out... but its still a great shot with or without the tree!

Thats awesome Phil! I hate backcountry hiking, but when you finally get there it makes it so worthwhile. Good to see your still getting some good snow late in the season, wish i was there.

Thanks Roger. Eric Bibb is the man. He is only slightly less cool then Taj Mahal. Would have loved to have seem both of them, my blues (kinda) fix over the blues fest period was G. Love and Special Sauce in Newtown. They are blues fuelled hip hop, very cool. Also the Black Keys. I also saw that Bo Diddley was touring, that would have been cool to see too.

Great shot! i love how the lines run straight through the image diagonally.
I see a lot of kite surfing here (i think Newcastle, where im from was the first to bring it to australia and may even been a part in inventing it). SOme of the stuff those guys do is amazing.
