Thanks Fabio. You have a great portfolio. Love the human forms in nature. Like November Tree, Water Wood, The Sign, Happy Dragon, and The Sad Girl.

Wonderful composition Clifton. A nice sense of depth, and the B&W works well.

Excellent abstract Stephen! The photo has great depth to it--a real 3-D look that invites you to explore the details.

Wonderful photo Barry, just like the dozens of others posted to your portfolio. Can you tell me what type of ND grad filter system you used for this shot--circular or square? Thanks.

Hi Mark, The dark surface in the foreground is a firm but semi-soft rubber material used to cushion the ground for children in the play area. It had just finished raining and that rubber surface was still very wet and throwing a nice watery reflection.

Hi Brendan, the mirror board is a piece of shiny reflective metallic mylar paper (about 45cm x 30cm) taped onto a sturdy piece of poster board. I purchase the paper in a local art store. I line up my reflection in the board and shoot away. I find it easier to shoot mirror board photos with my smaller Pentax compact camera instead of my Nikon D50. It's easier to hold the mirror board and view the photo on the LCD this way. Thanks for your comments on my photos.

Hi Nicole, I like the point of view of the camera and the shadowed lines, which accentuate the essence of the guitar. In your bio you note that you live on the north shore of Lake Tahoe and that it is one of the most beautiful spots on earth. Please post photos of some of it so we can all enjoy! Thanks very much for the kind comments on my porfolio.

Thank you all for your supportive comments. I really love the moment when I download a photo and get thrilled by it. And almost as equally enjoyable is when others like it too.

The photos in this series need to be hanging on a wall in public somewhere! Wonderful moody dusk shot. The texture in the ice looks like paint strokes.

Hi Ken, The plastic tarp, you hung it in front of the insulator? Great idea that creates a magnificent photo. The scratches in the tarp add to the old time feel of the subject, and the side lighting is excellent.

Hi Ken, I take a shiny piece of silver reflective mylar paper, tape it to a piece of foam board, and walk around taking photos of the reflections in the "mirror" board. I purchase the paper at art shops. I edit nearly all my photos in Photoshop, mostly adjusted contrast and color saturation. I really like your portfolio—many photos with a painted quality.
