With apperture 1.4 (if you lens can provide it, the ND-filter doesnt chance that)) you can get day-light exposure-times <1/8000. A ND-filter actually blocks light (the same amount for all wavelenghts so you don't get a color-cast (hence 'Neutral Density')) so you can use this aperture in daylight. I use a adjustable ND (1-9 stops) from LCW.

Hi darryl, we were in a small boat, and our guide threw a fish with some balsawood in it, so it floats. That is also a focus-aim. While I focussed (in servo-mode) on the bait, the guide kept an eye on the bird, and counted down on its sweep. By '2' I pressed down, and the 5 fps and autofocus did the rest.So the 3 pictures had background in the same place. The clone-stamptool in PS7 put the same bird together.
