It does make it more dramtic, interesting, I'll have to play around with that a little more.

Rach! I love this portrait! Very nice. I think the shadows add drama! Have you ever played around with dodge and burn layers? I think if you added a dodge and burn layer to this shot, increasing the contrast it would make it even more dramatic.

Nice eye on this one!! Love it!

Yes Kathy, it was natural light. It was taken about 11:00 AM this morning, the kids sitting on the couch with a window right above the couch.

Im glad you liked it! Thank you for your comments.

Maybe next time you can turn off the flash. To me flash makes the image flat. Nevertheless this is a great capture.

This is a great moment captured, regardless of technicals. Looks plenty sharp to me, but who am I to say? I have some of the blurriest photos on usefilm, so I'm not a great one to critique that.

Such a typical infant look, taht's rarely captured. Excellent work, Racheal!

Thank you for comment. My 2 year old son has never seen a sheep before, well only in books I guess. So when we went to my family's farm, we were riding along in the truck, and came across a group of them. I rolled down the window to let him look at them. He asked me "What's that?" And I told him that they were sheep. He got a huge smile on his face and his eyes lit up, he was discovering them for the first time. I hope I explained that well enough for you. Have a great day.

BEAUTIFUL!!! The light and shadow is quite dramatic but I like it. Amazing deep blue of the eyes, perfect bow mouth and the golden downy hair on his porcelain skin with just the right touch of rosy cheeks. Even the dark shadows do not detract from the innocent, charming soft expression. What a gorgeous child.

I love the way they're facing each other and I love the bare skin. I would brighten this up quite a bit, and go way up on the contrast. The softness works well here.
