yes I like it; spacially the composition which is able to keep all that "empty" space to have breath around the people and flag; I think this good is due to the color which is very quiet to the eye (as skin?) and texture not so dramatic and smooth

I remember you trying to get this one, the wavy lines in the sand are great, as though the flag being dragged up the beach was a struggle. They look so intent on such an important job - 'sand castles' LOL

Great composition love the inclusion of the flag without it I dont think it would be the same.

THis is stunning Marie, I bet you went for the 'windswept look' after you had been up there. SO dramatic and the way the sun just shines through the water - great - apart from the fact 'we weren't there anymore'. Ade's shot certainly gives a great comparison

Wow Marie this is fabulous, haven't had time to look at mine yet, and mustn't spend long now - got to go and collect that 'posh frock' LOL
Still can't get over how wonderful the whole weekend was and how lucky we were with the weather, providing us with dramatic sky most of the time and great subjects 'on it'. Now get packing..............

Excellent shot, Marie. If you see it the first time you think it's a photomontage. Very spooky.

Fabulous capture Marie, I remember seeing this on your viewfinder and I can answer Green's question on the NON use of PS.

The sky was changing almost as quick as the temperature !

Catch you in a week.

For a moment there, I thought that this kite was some kind of photoshop fabricated man and then I read you summary. That is a really interesting kite. Was the sky naturally that color or did you PS it?

I don't what, but there is something particular in your shot.. perhaps the crop you've done, or the refelction, or the slight blurry effect.. but there is something that attracts the eye..
Well done Marie
