Senthil, this is a stunning image! The composition with the rocks in the water work so well with the image. They add a great break in what could of been a regular reflection...instead, you added great detail to a part of the image that can often be too strong in an image like this. because you want the viewer to look up, you did so very well with the break in the reflections.
Very well done! very well deserved POD!

Thanks for your comments. I couldn't agree more with you about your point on the choice of the equipments' playing a vital role in making a superior picture. Yes, I too have had better results with Olympus prosumer cameras (I liked especially the skin tones, the colors, and the good auto White Balancing the Olympus' C series cameras produced).

Thanks for the comment Clint! No, I did not have to hike a mile to get this one :-). On the contrary, the spot from which I photographed this picture is hardly more than a hundred feet from the parking lot.
I am flattered about your request for using this picture to paint. Go for it, please. I would appreciate if you could share with me how the paining came out :-)

Great creative camera angle on this one. Also love the beautiful saturated colours, shallow dof, and sharpness of the flower in focus. The overall composition is 'yummy.' On looking at your tech details, I'm not surprised you used an Olympus camera for this. I've had better results with Olympus equipment than any other so far. I know it's the photographer that takes/makes the image, not the camera, but our cameras, lenses, film (or other media & processes) that either enable us to fulfil what we had envisioned, or keep us from achieving that goal. My 2 cents worth.
