Thanks, that makes perfect sense. I was using a non A/F Tamron lens on this one so focusing in the hot sun was a bit tricky. Great points, maybe I can use PS and blur on the background?

very nice composition ... two things however:
a longer telephoto with a slightly lesser DoF would have aided this photo. The lower half of the photo, which is the focal point, could have stood out more.

This is excellent framing, as all your geometric elements merge as one. Splendidly seen Spiro, but you really should revisit this same shot during twilight, to incorporate the neon.

Great image from a great angle.. and a very different view of Vegas... I like it! Think I may have cheated slightly and cloned out the roof in the bottom left hand corner, but great shot all the same.
