Beautiful capture Shirley, the blur movement of Dosewallups River makes a fitting background to the overhanging cedar branches. Choice of b&w is excellent, great composition.

Nice clouds & thirds position of both trees. Just an opinion Dino, cropping less than a fourth of bottom frame wouldn't hurt an otherwise great composition. Choice of b&w is excellent, well captured.

Great capture to include the reflection of the subject. The grain & tone adds punch to the image, great capture Jackie.

This is fantastic Jacques, in my opinion it's the clouds that really anchors the shot aside from the rock formations. I haven't been to this part of Canyonlands but viewing your images gives me a glimpse of what awaits me, great capture.

Terrific contrast between the flora & it's surroundings, the conversion to monochrome is an excellent choice. The soft look kinda gives atmosphere to the image, well captured & composed Shirley, Happy Holidays.

The perspective you chose of the foreground arc & tilted building on the left makes the composition appear abstract, not to mention the gorgeous clouds. Well captured & seen Jeanette, warm congrats on the SC award.

Fantastic Kes, between the dark tone, animal & streaking jet overhead is what makes a superb composition, well captured & timed, regards.

Nice still life, like the texture & detail between the metal sheet, tree & soil. The leaves appear prominent amid the overall dark tones, well captured & seen Dominikus.

Bella! Superb capture of this castle amongst a sea of clouds, one heck of a view from your study. Would be really awesome with a darker blue sky, but that's just a thought to an otherwise magnificent image Paolo, ciao.

Nice, like the catchlight too. I'm wondering if blurring half the branch was intentional due to the significant difference from the left side. DOF is perfect, again nice capture J.

I like the static look of all the branches in the back, a little more contrast would really add punch (Just An Opinion) to the image otherwise well captured & composed Arie. Thanks much for the kind comment to my image, regards.

Tough choice between the two, the color version is fantastic with the red lighting. If I were to pick one it would be this. I like how both walls takes the eye directly to the silhouetted figure & the inclusion of the street light adds to the abstract like composition. Wish image file size were bigger Jonathan but overall a superb image, thanks much for the kind comment to my image, regards.

Beautiful clouds complimented by the near silhouetted tree. Just an opinion Jacques, although a great capture, I see potential for an awesome b&w version. Work on brightening the image a bit especially the foreground to bring some details, the sky looks good as is. Otherwise again great capture.

The atmosphere really makes it moody & is similar to the works of Michael Kenna, if you haven't heard of him Adnan, check out his site. Anyway a beautiful capture here.

Bella, the inclusion of the lone subject anchors the shot, like the symmetry of the rails & stairs. Well captured & composed Martino, ciao.

In the world of photojournalism their will always be pros & cons Johancharles. Bottomline, it's FACT & REALITY whether we like it or not. Anyway indeed a touching image, the grain makes a nice touch, good job.

Nice range of tones Niclas, both the perspective & sense of scale via the onlookers (Left) & the incoming boat makes for a superb capture of the scene. Thanks much for the kind comments to my image, best wishes & Happy Holidays.

Bella, The fact that the image has two parts makes for a superb "Everyday Life" type of capture. The choice for b&w is perfect, it wouldn't be the same otherwise in my opinion, beautiful photograph Gennaro, ciao.
