Although the image of the boy is cute, I don't care for the look of flash with the tiny catchlights in his eyes. The cat's leg that is scratching his neck is a little distracting as I wasn't sure what it was at first. There also isn't enough detail in the shadow area. He almost looks to have a floating head. I like the idea of the photo and the composition.

Honestly, I don't mind the dog being a little dark. I love the backlighting here and the landscape only adds to the character of the shots. I adore this as a series. You should print this BIG! Your style is wonderful! TFS
