True Paul, unless you crop a little off the top as well to keep her eyes at 1/3. Which is how I must have viewed it in my browser.

To add to Wolf Zorrito's comment I would go an even tighter and crop it just below the knuckle of her little finger.

Hi, This flower is called Sturt's Desert Pea after Captain Charles Sturt who discovered it in 1844. It's the floral emblem of South Australia. Just for you trivia buffs.
Great picture ranjan.

Hi Sharon, I love the composition of this picture. At first glance the focus seems to be on the boulders in the foreground. But really they are framing the island in the background, and the fact that you have them taking up so much of the image suggests their size and weight.

Thankyou Marcus, I figured if anyone knew it would most likely be you. Other than a little sharpening and the vignetting effect this picture is untouched I was standing in the back yard about 10 feet away from this little fellow when I took this shot about 6am this morning. This was the best of about 80 pictures taken.

Great composition. The pavers makes your eyes look up towards the lamp, and the contrasting colours of the cool blue sky and warm lamp light go well together. I agree with AJ though the lamp on the left is a distraction, and I would probably omit it. Other than that it's a Great picture.

Hi Martin, Great image. As Paul said the sepia is a great effect for this type of picture. I love baseball and would love to go to America some day and watch some games.
Just a nitpick with the picture, it looks slightly crooked other than that it's great.
For an older effect you could also add a bit of grain.
Regards Stephen

Looks like a beautiful place, my only 'critique' about the picture is it's too dark (in my opinion). Maybe some slight levels adjustment to bring out some more detail in the shadows. Hope you don't mind I took the liberty of playing with it.

Hi John, I'm not sure if it's a guy or girl, I just called it a "he". As I said in the other picture I used my 70-300mm lens with extension tubes. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comment John, I used the standard 70-300mm zoom lens that came with my camera plus 3 extension tubes and got really really close to him. After sticking him in the freezer for about 5 minutes to slow him down. He's about 5cm long (head to tail)

The Black and white contrast in your image gives it a very moody feel, the composition is good and the glow around the barn makes it stand out. But I think you used a little too much unsharp mask.
