I Love the shot...It is fantastic shot and your DOF is perfect.
The presentation is good. I would suggest a thinner frame. But that is up to personal taste.

I grew up on a farm. My grandfather raised standard bred race horses, beef cattle and hogs. My husband and I have a small "farm" We have 3 dogs, 1 cat with 6 kittens, and the horse. We would probably have more if we had the room. Thanks for the comment

Delightful photo, wonderful colors!! Reminds me of my hometown- There was an apple orchard not too far away- The cider was great after sitting out for a day or two- Quite a buzz!!!

Hi Krista:
All you need to make a pic much better is to get eye level with the kid and wait until he turns to you, with just those little changes the composition would be a lot better.

Thanks so much it was manual focus and no this was not at 5am this time. About 2 in the afternoon. I happened to be working in the garden and there were about six grasshoppers on my pumpkin leaves. I decided I needed a break and went and got the camera and played a bit.

Beautiful macro!! Nice and clear focus. I always seem to have trouble using auto-focus on macro shot. Did you? Or was this a manual? Were you out in the yard at 5 AM again or just passing through? Great catch!!

I am hoping for this to be my next purchase. I have to save up though. My husband gets a four wheeler first, so it may be a while but I have use of this one when ever I need it which is nice. Thanks for the comment.
