nice portrait, but I think it?s always a minus if some lines seperate the whole picture surface. So does the stick in the hands of the boy and the coast line. Just do it better if you use a higher point of view and cut out the boy within a smaller angle.
hope you understand as my english is not perfect. So do not mind, it?s just my opinion, hope to see more from you :-)
