Mark, I totally agree... the guy is a nutter He didn't need too much encouragement to use that thing on the BBQ, which is a bit scary really. Just keep him away from any expensive cameras you might have!

I was supposed to be joining you lot in Northumberland this weekend but my brother decided to have his wedding this weekend in Scotland. How inconsiderate

POTS AND KETTLES mr Bowden :-)

which water fall was it.... trying to remember, not the strid was it? More a "feature" than a fall.

I'd shove this in the silhouettes project Andy - fits in nicely.

Really like the sky on this, goes from almost white to dark blue - nice transition.

Must go there again some time - looks a nice walk as well as a good place to get a few shots. Just don't fall in the Strid!!

Had a play with the shot, thought a little crop off the bottom may work - whatcha think?

Hi Andrew, awesome shot,i love the sky, amazing! Are they birds or bats coming in to the Abbey?Very moody & mysterious!Just one little thing tho, maybe a bit cropped off the bottom would look good, too much black distracts the eye from the rest of the pic.Keep up the good work!

Great photograph Andy .... although I have seen this one b4 somewhere lol

Answering to Suzie, I think the albatross was following the ship and with the strong wind and position of the boat this was the acute angle it needed to "glide" alongside.

Best wishes,
Steve

Such a futuristic place isn't it? Never been but from this you can see it's going places! Either that or it's a Newcastle clone!

did well without a tripod, obvioulsy following the Steve philosohpy of tripod usage.... i.e. leave it in the boot at all times!
