I like it. There's something about the image that draws me to it. Might be the warmth of the red.
One question though - if that is carpet under his feet - the perspective doesn't seem to work. The carpet wouldn't extend into infinity like that - you'd expect a wall or something else - did you clone the rest of the carpet to maintain the two color composition?
