fantastic shot with the light seeping through the branches. the tree looks great as well giving us a heart shape look. the one i really love in this pic are the sheeps in the background. contrast if perfect!

wow fantastic wide shot on this one. a little bit of distortion on the corners but i think its all because of the lens or the filter. keep up the great job!

ann, many thanks for the lovely detailed comments you gave. i chose this one among a few of my early works because it too is my favorite. this is a fantastic place which i hope i'd be able to visit once more and get more shots with my new gears. Happy New Year!!!

kanwarpreet, many thanks once more for visiting my portfolio and your comments. i have an earlier shot of this tree about two years ago almost same winter time, and i must say that it still looks exactly the same...only difference is i have set it in a different angle and used a much longer shutter time to get in more light...no blue orb though.ill try again in a few more months and get another different angle.thanks

nice B&W. might like to crop the circular stand, also try moving the object a bit far from the wall to make the shadow more prominent..just a suggestion. many thanks for the comments on my pic too.

jeroen, many thanks for the comments...yes I do agree that it was lucky to get that effect unintentionally, unless it was really something mystical like a real orb hahaha. but yes, right in the middle of the tree which i did not expect, normally all the intended flare i have tried is not like this.. and definitely not blue color

mika, this is fantastic! have you got this published in a magazine? i liked the concept, very artistic and the angle of shot is great. the model's pose and expression is great as well which makes this shot quite sexy as well. i know cebu is a beautiful place which is a birthplace of my mom. keep up the great work!

awwww this is so cute!!!! fantastic lighting and DOF..liked the capture of his eyes looking directly at you. loved your portfolio as well shooting kids which i have definitely taken up as well since i became a father 4 months ago!! very cheap too than hiring models hahahah

Many thanks for the comments and the edited version.. got no photoshop as i am using an old computer enough to upload these pics..so all my works are unedited. malls are quite paranoid of photographers which i do understand the reason, just lucky they didnt ask me to delete the pic..but ill definitely come back and do a shoot again hehehe
