Very nice image and good capture of light.

I see you are also a fan of Caravan's finest album!

Hi Sylvain. I came across the picture during a google search for landscapes taken with a Contax T2. I have just bought a superb mint/unused example of this great little camera to supplement my Ricoh GR1-V.

This is a lovely picture with a 'transparency' quality and yet taken on bog standard Fuji Superior 200! I shall have to try some myself in my T2 and see how I get on with it.

Was this a simple p&s shot or did you use any manual overrides? Thanks.

I like this shot

I have been to this spot (or very near it.) in St. Agnes. Looks like its near to the Blue Hills tin streams museum.

Nice image without being a postcard cliche. Temptation to doctor the sky has been resisted also which gives a nice natural feel without being either a tourist board photo or a gothic nightmare!

If I remember to, I will post one of my St Agnes photos one day.

I have been lucky enough to get a few of these sort of shots myself at times. They are very satisfying to get. My personal preference is to wait until the whole outline of the dark cloud is fringed with light.

It is always difficult with the sunburst to assess the best time to shoot as it may only last a few seconds and the degree of the sunburst effect can vary a lot in this time, changing suddenly.

This is a lovely shot but then I am a sucker for sky shots without distractions. No horizons or mans clutter, just natures shapes and colours.

A couple of sites if you also love this sort of pic... http://www.meteo.physik.uni-muenchen.de/~paul/nwpej.html

I like this little 'mini landscape'. The contours and valleys created by the background are interesting and have shadow detail. The droplets are nicely focused. (At least on my monitor they are.)

I like this shot of the intrepid little bug on its own mini mountain range!

Nice photo regardless of whether it was your first film or not.

Very nice for a cheap , contrasty , kyocera copy of a Contax lens!! Hehe. (Your description of the 45mm f2 I recall.)

Superb shot Bill. Love the sky.
