Hi, I would have kept an eye on her profile while taking this pic. With all the respect, considering emotional and spontaneuous action ..that would be better if she only would have turned her head a bit more to the right. :) Besides - you managed to take quite a shot :) Cheers.

Nice addition of color Nicole. I think the presentation is good as well, having the three side-by-side. They are, however, my least favorite flower/weed. :) Nice job. ~Sheryl

I think by leaving that lighting in the corner it makes the palace look more ominous and threatening, which is what I look for in that kind of photo. Awesome job.

This is the one I see. It has rusty imperfections that make the gas works look really vulnerable. Amazing shot.

I understand the concept of black and white pseudo-industrial photography, and this is a great example of it. This is a good photo and I love the angle, but it would be nice to see a little more of the rusty detail on the side of the tall tower. This gas fixture is sort of representative of a struggle for fuel in the world right now. It's presence is ominous, but if we could see its weaknesses in the structure like rust on the sides and stains and imperfections, perhaps we could restore some faith in the American fuel industry. (maybe). My suggestion is take it earlier in the morning, when the lighting will be a little convenient, and just comming over the edge, or in the evening, when the lighting is just going down. Watch some black and white short film movies that have still shots. This can give you an idea as to the lighting I see. It's an amazing shot. Well done.

The repetition in the diagonal lines in the slide and banister are well seen. I can faintly see in teh background what may be a city outline telling me this is a city park. The slide is well polished and there are many footsteps in the sand, a busy place.
