the scene is beautiful but i think 80% of the shot is out of focus. You should work hard on teaching yourself the 20D 9 AF points. However, i wish you all the best in your future shots.

Cloudy day, highnoon. I think pictures has name Highnoon in wetland... However I don't think it looks flat. Maybe your monitor hasn't right settings:-)))And one thing more... I like to make pictures in not suitable conditions. All can make good capture in shiny day. This picture looks like paintings of Flamish masters. You can compare it if you have some encyclopaedia of history of art.
