Sameh,

I think the form of the tree trunk contributes to the feeling of distortion.

Thanks for the comment.

Best of luck to you with the beautiful photos you're taking.

Good composition. A tad too contrasty for my taste, though. But that's me.

This is a very sharp and beautiful macro shot, Sameh. The composition and color saturation is great too. Everything seem to be in proper place.

Keep on the good work.

By the way thanks for the comments on my shots too. I read every one of them, although I don't respond to them individually.

Wish you success and happiness.

Sameh,

I tried what you suggested, decreasing the size of the Moon and its brightness and softened the halo around it, of course using your own Moon shot, because of its great definition and tonality. And I think, as you see, it looks more real. Thanks a lot for your comment.

I like the rich black and white tones on your photo. It adds the element of drama.

Best of luck, Simon.

David,

I was working to make something out of my initials. then I thought I combine'm with the shape of the aperture opening too. And of course, since "Parto" means "rays of light" in farsi, it kinda has that connotation also.

Thanks for the interest.

Dear Mary,

Thanks a lot for your lovely comment. I took a look at your work too. I should say, although I have not commented on any of the individual photgraphs yet, but I think your work, overall, are all very senseful and musing. It seems like you, also, prefer to a pick a particular subject matter and examine it closely. But you do it mostly of people.

Best of luck to you too.
