Pat Great scene and view, and made into an extra special composition by the subject, the wheel tracks really lead the eye into the scene too

Love the lighting and the pose.
Just a wonderful shot.
Sorry for the lack of comments lately I've been really busy, over the next few days I'm going to be uploading several shots without much time to comment. I apologize now for this.
It all has a reason that will soon be expressed as well.

Whoohoo already out getting flight action shots....watch out Marcus !
A tough bird to capture as the black and white of the bird make it hard to find the correct exposure.
You did a great job.

Ooh, they are so pretty and elegant. I might try cropping on the left right to the back of the tail of the far left one. It would give more space on the right for the swans to swim into.
What do you think of this version?
Nice one Pat!

Yamil, I was serious! I love meeting people and my husband is used to me inviting people and meeting new friends, plus I am like a kid in a candy store when I see all the wonderful animals, I never get tired of seeing them. Always new surprises. Pat

It is hunting season and there are so many that hide around our place as they feel safe. I will be glad when the season is over. Pat

I like the layers present in this shot..the trees, the yellow grass, the snow, the reddish grass and the elk....keeps it very grounded.

Dear Pat,
I dream with this vision.
I can't wait until next year when I plan to go to Yellowstone to look for these giants.
He looks so powerful and majestic.
Great capture.
Keep up the good work.
