So that's a magpie.....saw this bird in Beaver Creek, Colorado a couple of years ago and could not figure out what he was! I am so glad you posted him, now I know what he is! Beautiful capture above that beautiful snow! Your images are wonderful Pat!

Agree with the others, Pat, and a very nice capture of it, the black is often hard to expose properly.

Hi My friend....The Bird you posted is a Raven....Notice the Feathers on its beak? Crows don't have them and Ravens do. This is such a fabulous Picture. Presented well and spot on details.
Congrats

Thanks Jezabel! I appreciate your comments. I'm like you I like them as they are clever. Also have been facinated with the Magpies and in the winter we feed them and the chukars but they are so difficult to capture. Pat

i think the buffalo is truly one of the most beautiful animals on earth. admittedly my frist experience with buffalo was eating a buffalo burger when i visited south dakota as a kid, but these days i'd love to just go out and see one and photograph it.

too bad they aren't roaming the prairies in the thousands like they used to... but you can say that about most animals anywhere these days.

Hi Yamil! When are you planning on coming to Yellowstone? If you are in this area I will be happy to show you where the sheep are hiding. Some don't hide, they roam the roadside Thanks for commenting. Pat
