Gorgeous capture Pat! Beautiful in every way!! Is it still VERY cold there? I don't know if I should tell you this or not but we had the air conditioner on today! Guess I'd better go shopping for those warm wool thingies for May! Hope you and Mike have a wonderful New Year, Health and Happiness for you and your family. Looking forward to May!!! Take care my friend! Darlene

Great shot Pat. I remember that you were going to take the shots for this wedding. How did it go? This is a nice set up. The snow adds a cool visual.
Thanks too for your nice comment on the EC. I appreciate it. )

Sorry, Pat, I clicked on the wrong place before I meant too! About the only thing I can suggest, is to bracket your shots, and don't let the auto exposure fool you into making a wrong exposure, based on the brightness of the snow.
Dave.

Nice capture of the two of them, Pat! Those exposures against the snow are pretty tricky.

You know I love my donkeys- your mules are so cute in the snow too. I love Wyoming from your photos! Wish the site let them be bigger so my old eyes can see them better!

Hi Pat...this is great! I'm so glad that they've added a panoramic viewing option. This one is so cool when you can see it larger. Great job capturing the emotions of these animals.

Another beautiful one. a little photoshop can cure what the camera doesn't take care of. Here is my fix. The colt is still not great, but he is visible and so cute too!

Pat, all that snow is tricking your light meter to under-expose for the important stuff. shoot in exposure bracketing, and get a couple shots the camera 'thinks' are over-exposed, and you'll then all the detail you need from your critters.

Nice shot,I'm sure the pony would like to be on the other side of the fence. Snow will give your camera a false light meter reading by telling the camera its brighter than it is causing it to underexpose. You need one more stop of light and that will also define black objects.
