I posted it to share it, even with the line. I either need to fix the scanner or buy a new scanner. I could have fixed it in photoshop as well but I don't like to mess with my film images much in PS.
Thanks.

Thanks! This was my second roll with this Mamiya so I'm ajusting on trying to get things level. I could re-crop in photoshop for now. I didn't have the wall lit itself, I'll have to try that. THanks!

Thanks! Yep, right across the road from our farm. They are a nice family and I'm going to ask to shoot more here. This car is actually surrounded by horses usually so I'll try to get them in there too!

Thanks! I'll be at the farm on Saturday and I hope the sky is more interesting instead of blinding bright and I'll try to take more. Thanks for the cropping ideas! I'm a fan of tone as well~thanks!

Thanks! I was standing on a bit of a hill if I remember right-it's very hilly there (even just small ones)...I didn't think about it much at the time I confess. The ones I did shooting the other direction I was lower and closer...I wasn't as fond of this image as the ones going the other way. Yep, the sky is a white blob...hmm...Thanks for the Constructive Critique. I intend to go out to this spot again soon and shoot more so I'll give it another PoV and work at it more. Thanks!

Thank you! Yes, I have a studio here in Iowa. (well, I've been working out of my house taking clients for a couple years and now I bought an old house just for a studio!) I'm excited at the thought it will be done soon!
I never get tired of seeing these images (building, cars and trucks, landscapes....) when done in a beautiful way like you've done, how could one ever be bored with them? Love your work!

thanks! I use one light usually and a reflector for fill. I used a 60" softliter for this since I broke the end of the pole in my softbox AGAIN...long story...frustrating. But I'm happy with the light I got as it is similar to what I try for with the softbox.

Great composition and colors. Love the foggy landscape. This image is very familiar in my area as well (Iowa) so I prefer these! (plus being married to a farmer I'm a little more attracted to farm related images.

Thanks!
I actually do a combination of a few actions from Kubota's Workshops to create the vintage color. www.kubotaworkshops.com has a great artistic actions vol.1 set and I use the choc. syrup 1 (which is a deep sepia) and then go in and lower the opacity of it to bring color back through. Hope that helps some!
