Thanks! Yep, right across the road from our farm. They are a nice family and I'm going to ask to shoot more here. This car is actually surrounded by horses usually so I'll try to get them in there too!

Thanks! I'll be at the farm on Saturday and I hope the sky is more interesting instead of blinding bright and I'll try to take more. Thanks for the cropping ideas! I'm a fan of tone as well~thanks!

Hello again: I noticed this "grave yard " recently. I did not comment then, but I am commenting now. Go back and burn film at various angles and also, Again, I recropped your photo for Not so much sky and give it some tone. Please feel free to alter MY images also. Will you let me know what you think.

Hi Jessica, Good image, simple, recognisable and interesting. I liek the presentation, the centered composition works nicely.
Eventhough the tonal range is well balanced, I think decreasing the brightness just a notch might've made the photo more powerful, as well as separate the dandelion from the face just a bit stronger, creating a more dominant subject in the action, if you see what I mean.
Very nice photo, though.
Cheers,
Hugo

Very cool, Jessica. Love your art work! This has a lovely mix of colors and textures- great balance and perfect focus. Bet you could sell these to a modern Doctor's office or Dentist's office. Love it!

Thanks! I was standing on a bit of a hill if I remember right-it's very hilly there (even just small ones)...I didn't think about it much at the time I confess. The ones I did shooting the other direction I was lower and closer...I wasn't as fond of this image as the ones going the other way. Yep, the sky is a white blob...hmm...Thanks for the Constructive Critique. I intend to go out to this spot again soon and shoot more so I'll give it another PoV and work at it more. Thanks!

Hi Jessica, Good photo, and an interesting bit of backgound information. Good composition too, but I'm not sure about the blown out sky. Then again, the weather wasn't really favourable, I think. The sullen light does help in sketching the spooky atmosphere, though.
Just curious: did you deliberately take the overview? getting in more close and shooting the two cars and the fence from a more up close PoV might increase the impact of this shot, but that is obviously subjective...
Cheers,
Hugo

Jessica: After looking at my suggested Cropping, I think your original with sky, would be very nice IF A LOT OF BLUE was put into sky. Border also is a must in many cases. Thanks for reply. Check my work out soon. Chuck

a nice shot, and interesting subject! Id kind of like to see some details in the sky though...maybe try the shot in early morning or near dusk when you can highlight the subject and still capture the sky without it being blown out? just a suggestion, all the best, David
