Not a bad image. You could use a diffuser for your light. Also ask your model to be relax.

Excellent result for a difficult lighting situation. The relaxed position of the baby and th mother's experession are perfect.
I would like to see a touch more light on the mother's right and in the background. I attempted to take picture with similar lighting with my subject wearing black in front of a black background. I spilled a little light on the background to lighten it up slightly.
