Hi Ron,
Amazing wildlife shot, although from the Zoo!
I know too well how difficult it is to get such a close capture of this beautiful animal in nature.
Thanks for sharing!

Great capture of this railroad tressle-perfect composition and tones. The sepia version is definitely the best!

Hi Joggie,
A very powerful macro-in colors, details, light and composition!
I was almost sure you used the converter, but you didn't.
I should have taken some photo lessons from you
Anyhow, excellent capture here again!
Regards, Mireille

Hi Hugo,
You're right, the shed is a bit too close. Unfortunately I had to shoot like I did as there was a road close to it and I prefered not having a grey strip on the left.
As to the saturation you are right too. I hardly never use this tool, always thinking of making too much use of it (see adjusted photo above)
Thanks for your help!
Cheers,
Mireille

Hi Hugo,
1)threatening for #1, peaceful for #2, well-balanced for #3 and powerful for #4
2)of course it does
3)yes, they do
4)they all fit very well (I might suggest a shot of a fire/flame for #1 as you are "only" documenting the result of this natural power caused to the earth; this might avoid two earth photos)
5)your title is perfect; an alternative might be "Nature's moods" or "Moody nature"
6)you do have improved this series by having followed "my" suggestion
7) although I like the effect(s) caused by the lensbaby, I prefer this series for the preservation of as many details as possible

Thanks for sharing this outstanding documentation with us-keep it going, it's wonderful!!!

Mireille

P.S. the moods enumerated under 1) could also be applied to human beings (not only to nature)

Hi Dino,
This is what I call a crispy shot. Excellent contrast between the sharpness in the foreground and the softness in the background!

Hi Hugo,
Thanks a lot for your constructive comment!
I tried desperately to emphasize the sky with the shadow/highlight tool in CS2. I got your sky but unfortunately with too much contrast on the tree and the meadow. How did you achieve this sky without changing anything on the tree/meadow, knowing that your result is much better than mine!?
Cheers,
Mireille

Hi Edith,
So glad to hear that somebody here on UF knows about Luxembourg-thanks for your visits!
There are some more photos I've taken in Echternach, Weilerbach and Mullerthal (just updated the locations for all those mentioned-see pages 2,7,9+10).
I also had a look at your portfolio and there are some outstanding photos in (canyon + all the ones taken in the white sand).
Best regards,
Mireille

I love your new way, Giuseppe! The softness as well as the composition and colors here are gorgeous!
Excellent work and to me you did very well by keeping some empty space on the right (it's a bit too busy with the cropped version-my opinion only!)

Great idea, Paolo! The powerful pink against the soft blue/green tones makes it tick for me.
The composition here wouldn't have been as perfect if you had included the entire left leg...excellent thinking!

Salut Joao,
Ces vaches ont un regard tellement mignon et le bleu arrière-plan accentue parfaitement le noir et blanc ainsi que l'orange.
Cette photo devrait être utilisée comme pub!!!
Excellent travail!
A bientôt,

Hi Robert,
This is the best of the series (in my opinon!).
Here the composition makes it tick for me.
You did very well by including part of the arch!
Thanks again for all your comments!

Hi Mohammad,
This is an absolute favourite!
I love it for the monotonous colors, the composition and finally for the details on the one hand and for the amazing softness on the other.
Much, much better than "Alone"! To me the colors are too busy there (only my opinion!)
Thanks for your visits!
