very nice, but too much overexposed parts in tha shot, tha background is distractiing, dont get me wrong.i am trying to help to point out mistakes.try to corect these mistakes in next shots, good luck, move you cam to left side and make that cark tree on tha background fully and then shooting form close to subject will give a lot better result.almost like macro then.

This is a very nice composition, Darren. What disturbs me a bit is the fact that the picture is not quite level. I think with this geometrical compositions this is an important aspect.

Very interesting effect with the shade on the mist. You have to look twice to understand how it works. Very pleasing picture, Darren.

I usually crawl around a lot when I go out shooting, but this time the ground was wet. Plus, my tripod is only 4" tall, so I'm used to it. Sometimes I feel like all my shots are from the perspective of a medium-sized rodent, but I guess its a relatively unique view.

Thanks for the comment Ann! I have become so used to re-working shots that having one like this kind of freaked me out a bit. Thanks for the input. By the way, that is precisely where I got the name from.
You are now on my Friends list.

It's great just the way it is Darren. Doesn't need a crop. I love the mood here and the fog diffused lights add to that atmosphere. Beautiful reflections and interesting lines. The beam going right up the middle is a subtle interesting element and no doubt the one which gave you the title I would think. I really like the colours and soft tones the fog provides. well seen and bravely captured in that dark place. (hehe)
Thank you for your flattering comment on my Still Blue image. If you would add me to your friend's list I could track your images easier to comment on them. I'm not a donor (yet) so can't add you due to limitations.
Cheers - Ann

The distant look is very fine. The space left is important, the glow needs that to fade off. Every bit is natural and fine.

Here's another one with cool perspective. I think I may have been near here some time, on the south west end looking north at the entrance to Stanley Park. I like the choice of the wide angle, and the hyperfocal focus. So, you're from Leth, small world. I grew up there too, but that was a long time ago. Maybe you knew my brothers.
