Thanks Alex. You're right about the camera. I used to own a 10D which I loved, but I would never have been able to take this picture and extract the details out of the shadows (foreground) like I have here. There'd have been artifacts and noise so bad it would have wrecked the picture.

Very beautiful, dramtic landscape. Might not hurt to rotate the horizon about 1deg. clockwise.

Great shot, sharpness and clarity. The red blotch behind the bird's neck is a little distracting but still a wonderful picture.

Hi Tony and thanks for your excellent critique. If I understand you correctly, you mean to crop off the bottom portion of the pier? If that is the case I was debating whether or not to do that and hoping someone would make that suggestion. Let me know if I understand you correctly.

This is a beautiful seascape, sunrist picture. Love the golden tones. I do think cropping about an inch off the bottom would make it even better. Great shot
