Hello my Friend!!!
Ok you put this into Critique Corner and well I have decided to get back to what I used to do and give my indepth critiques.
First off, I am so happy to see you posting your wildlife shots again. You have an amazing skill at capturing these shots.
The placement of the Cormorant is SPOT On. I Love the seperation you have achieved with the shallow depth of field.
The beiges and light greens really seperate the FG from the BG. The details in the feathers and and eyes are outstanding.
If there was a tiny nit I could find, it would be....the tiny white specks that are on the black part of the bird. I am not sure what they are, but I would have cloned them out and gave the black it's due. meaning that way the eyes wouldn't be distracted by the specks and allowed to flow thru the shot without stopping there and trying to figure out what they are.
Anyhow my friend. Fantastic capture and keep up the awesome work.
