Would be beautiful printed on really glossy shiny 'post card' paper. I see 'clone' spots in the sky area tho it seems? Maybe a bit of a blur tool to blend?

I kind of like the composition. Different angles I'm sure would have worked...as always..there are several different angles to every 'story'. I think a contrasty b&w would work too, as Joffre mentioned.

The colors are almost too unreal..yet I know they are real after reading your 'About'. I have never seen such an awesome glowing red reflection such as you have captured in this image due to the sun shining on the lighthouse. Pretty cool. Very unique.

I, too, like the colors and the railings leading into the photo. So..wonderful colors and excellent composition. The white spots are distracting. Unless,,of course..it is snow beginning to fall on a fall evening?

Wonderful capture John. These two look as if they came from the 'wild side of life' in the animal kingdom. The lighting has left a little bit of contrast out of the image..the colors are nice tho. On my monitor the snow looks white and natural..just not enough contrast. The other little picture you posted...how delightful..shame..slow shutter..darn!

I like this picture ALOT. I rated this one an 8. I would have rated the picture a 10 except for the lighting. I like the shadows and lighting on the back of the bike. I think a little more lighting on the front (example: a little light on the top of the cover of the front tire?) of the bike would have IMO compelled me to rate this image a 10. Almost perfect That's just my opinion tho. Others may see things differently.

Very nice image Miss Debbie Groff You have really improved in the past year and a half. Keep up the good work. I knew you could do it

Just kidding Jim. I'm sure Dave and Altaf will take care of this matter for you. I'm not sure what to do myself. I don't see the image in my portfolio so it may have been taken care of already.

Great work tho

Ok. I think I understand what you would like to have conveyed in this image. I definetly will try to remember to open my eyes to the different angle and view when I see such a scene again. I'm not sure I could get the moon reflecting at this time of day with the sun shining from the west side onto the land area closest to the bottom of the screen. I metered on a tree close to this area then recomposed for lighting. The trees I must admit are a bit bland..maybe in the spring or early fall next year I'll be able to get this again with some awesome colors on the far background of land. I could have sworn I had taken a wide angle view of this scene but alas it was not in my roll of developed slides?

Thank you all for the comments. I agree about the closest flag. Honestly did not see the flag when taking the picture... was looking at the fence posts. This will maybe help me to remember 'again' to 'see' all that is in my picture frame. I almost cropped it out. I then lost the closest fence post. The wind was blowing and I'm not sure how to use a MAX DOF and get motion to stop at the same time.

Kim, Yes the flower is a bit soft, this is what I do when I'm upset with myself for not having a 'perfect' dadgum flower LOL @ myself. Glad you like the composition and ShopJob
Yes, Vincent these are the colors of the 60's or early 70's. Thank you for the comments. I always love getting them. Debbie

Hi Les,

Yes Adobe PS is a passion of mine as well. I have endless hours of fun in the wee hours of the morning when 'insomnia' sets in. Experimenting is fun. I think takin a lesson or two given by the makers of Adobe or your software creator might be a great investment?

Hi Mary Sue,

It's great to hear from you Yes I did the crop job The crop seemed to make the image IMO seem to be to square? If you would like to try to crop it and repost it for a 'look see'...that would be fine with me
