Neal, No, I live in Waconia...Carver County. I try to get up to the North Shore 1-2x a year, though, as I find it incredibly inspiring and rejuvenating.

Nice shot Tim, the background works well, I wouldn't crop at all, but maybe in situations like this, use a 2x converter or longer lens. Also, a very fast shutter speed would have frozen the movement of the birds, but all in all, a pleasing picture. I really like the coloring of the water and background,

Great color but the ND filter was a bit too strong. The lighting in the foreground is quite bright and noticeably transitions to a darker background. The saturation is great, but it does seem a little high even for me and I love saturated color. The amount of saturation to this image almost gives it the feel of being unreal.
