What ever you have done, the most important thing is you looked at it in a different way than most of the people. There are many B&w flower photographs. This I haven't seen before. Well done. Good light and good composition. Brilliant idea.

This is very well captured with this wall lamp, just enough light to show the face, but not lose the mood. Leaving the empty space to the left helps convey the feeling of emptiness in a motel room.
