Saad, this symbol is called a QR tag. It is sort of like a bar code. Encoded into it is the URL of imageopolis.com If you were to scan it with your smartphone it would take you to this website.
It is another way of bringing people here for a visit. So if you post on other photo forums or blogs or message boards, feel free to include the tag or a link to imageopolis. It would be very helpful in getting our visitor count back up and hopefully those that come to look will like what they see and join our community.
It would be great if we could go viral so please help if you can.

I am still updating and debugging the site, after it is 100% I will send out a mailing to all of our old members notifying them of the changes. Please feel free however to let all your friends know so that they can come back.

Hi Keith, no this was just a photo I had that was convenient to test with. It is actually a picture of a mall train some place in Australia. I had built a web site for a company called Roll Models Inc.(www.rmirailworks.com) and this was a photo I had laying around. If you want to see some of the trains at my club you can go to http://www.southerncalifornialivesteamers.com loads of photos in the gallery.
I am in the process of building a train similar to that one, although mine will be an actual operating live steam locomotive. The one in the photo I believe worked on electricity since it was for inside operations in a shopping mall.

Hi Phil, loss of a family member is a sad journey to make, I feel for you. Are you able to comment on the state of the uf site.....it's such a good thing but the front page is old and tired again with the same old work going around and around...there are a lot of comments posted but nobody seems to be getting through? Hi Phillip, have hung in for a few days and still the uf front page is populated by a majority of old work by non donors and no explanation from uf as to why this is so?......I think that 'ideas for new features' is lame and really not good enough to acknowledge and respect many people who donate to uf. Can we please know why the front page of the site continues to be largely devoted to old work by photographers who don't donate? kind regards, david.
ps did get a response to my forum thread from a donor who feels much as I do I think.
