I think you are absolutely correct Dave, though I have no way to check for sure I think this must be ex-navy. I think the gun on the front is a small punt gun.

I think this is a great shot for demonstrating the size and 'presence' a commercial airliner has (compared to the vehicle). Love the contrast too.

The shot was manually focused and hand held so I think it's just slightly out of focus as it was coming directly towards me (and I couldn't quite keep up!!)
