It is color slide film converted to black and white by my scanner, taking the colors and modifying them, and then turning to black and white. It's amazing by removing red in the scanning software the sky gets darker. I don't use a filter, I use the computer for a filter I guess... :-)

This is so unlike your street shots. The "other side" of your creativity.

beautiful expression of freedom and beauty.

i am still zipping around. I am in the process of getting married, this April 28th in fact. It's going to be in Colorado and it's driving me coo coo right now..That has eaten up lots of time :-)
.
It just seems for a while my life has been excessively hectic.
.

I've also been arguing with myself about going to large format. Shifts and Drops and 90mm not really 90mm. That in itself has been a learning curve, and trying to figure out what camera to get. The angles for reflections, you can make them look like they are standing up :-)
..
Nothing bad happening just a lot of good things keeping me quite busy,
.
Thanks Shirley for the kind words, I will get back eventually but my life's got to settle down a bit. hummm...hummm
;)

very elegant, the wall seems to lend a far away feel. For fun black and white works real nice with this.

soapbox time.. as long as the idea in your head always exceeds what your able to do, but strive to do isn't that a good thing?

to me finesse does not win over feeling. I am now 40 and toying with the idea of a couple classes :-). All the movies I watch, don't they do that in Art School?

It wasn't bad, but this is the imagery I had in my head when I went to see it. What he did with the fog sniffing out the lights, was creepy. What ruined it for me is when the guys did their fake "Horseman" it looked just like the real one and it destroyed the illusion that had been created for me, kind of like showing me the strings I didn't want to see.

Have you seen "Corpse Bride"? That to me is one of his best so far.
