hehe, Hi Andre.
sorry I've been away from UF for so long, and haven't been able to reply sooner.
it's a light at the top of a stairway at my school. the way the light is shaped, those are circular shadows on the ground, not ripples at all (you can see the pine needles if you look closely) I named it that because I thought it looked like water.
cool, huh?

mmm, like all your most recent images, very great use of line and geometric shapes. I like the industrial mood you've captured.
this one stands out, though, because of the forms of light and dark really are very attractive. great job!

nice tones. I like that the way you've captured it feels so nostalgic. I almost thought that this was in the American south, before I read the location. but that's what good photography does, it makes it so personal that you forget where you are and where you came from. great job!!

good job.

Very nice composition, Rafi. I do really like it a lot. there is a cool effect where the petals are semi-transparent, I think that really adds to the shot. good job!

Very nice capture, And such a majestic bird, too. Very well done.
I'd vote nay on the cropping. the green does not go all the way to the bottom of the image, either, so it creates a nice 'space' or frame for the bird. and the flowers seem to create a balance in the image, a direction past which the bird is looking. I don't know if that makes much sense, but all in all, the photo looks great as is. Good job!

and again a beautiful shot. I really love the shadow, I think it eccentuates the shot more than anything else, and combined with the orange tones on the leaf, it leaves a wonderful visual aftertaste that makes you want to look again. Very nice eye you have there.

No, Andre, thank you very much for that. I really appreciate your point of view, especially as a Canadian. I grew up along side non-americans, but even now it's easy to not think about what you guys think about us. And that is very interesting to me. And it's not a rant, it's merely telling the truth about what you feel. To be honest, I don't see much of that on the internet.
thank you for voicing your view. It means a lot to me.

Thanks for your comments! I loved the way the light played on the sand and I actually kind of like the magenta rosiness that it has. I used photoshop to push it that way, acutally.
But thanks for the input, it is always cool to get other people's perspective on things.
