This is a dead tree trunk in a very muddy lake (man made) with very little water left in it. The area is facing a severe drought for about 6 months now.

I didn't touch his skin. I had the photo cropped out, so I guess it had exaggerated the camera limitation. I was also having the same feeling as you did.

This the temple situated in the hill city Kandy which we, Buddhists believe that the tooth of the lord Buddha is kept. This is one of the most sacred places in Sri Lanka.

Hi Dan,
Thank you very much for stopping by and for your insight. I also feel that your re-work is more pleasing. :) When I took the picture, it was about 11-12 in the morning and the light was too harsh. So had to underexposed it a bit.
