Everything ok here, Christian. Our home is quite well protected against storms coming from the west. Other places in Vienna were not so lucky though. It's also been unusual warm, 19 degrees in Vienna and 20 nearby. Next week it will get cold and we will pay for the warm winter. Have a great weekend.

there certainly is a magical glow about this image. I love the atmosphere of this image. My only quibble is that I would have liked to see the top of the foreground tree. Well done.

The pelicans : me too ! Especially the one on the right. I'm not sure, but I thing it rests on one of possible graphical path of the picture (see the referenced pict).

Thank you for taking the time to comment Dylan. Hard to say what was behind his head... He definitely looks sad, but I think he was a street worker just taking a moment to rest.

Indeed, Shirley. Though so many years have passed, I still recall the precise moment of this one.

Thank you Markus. I would not even remember where exactly in Lima this was taken.

All things OK after the big storm ? After we had unusually warm temperatures for weeks, California is now frosting. And winter has finally made its bed here too. We even went down to almost -25 Tuesday night.

Certainly, Christian! Being an authorized translator (Finnish > Swedish) I find it difficult enough to maintain a high standard in just two languages :)
