Wow it is amazing how similar this looks to Mt Cook in the south island of New Zealand. Very nice shot of this lovely mountain

Truly an up close and personal view - very different from your other uploads of the Grand Tetons. Nice capture of the clouds floating around the peaks. I feel fairly certain that you didn't climb that far up the mountain/s - how did you get such a great crisp close-up?

Good mix of direct sunlight and shadow creating very good warm feeling. The rocks make excellent contrast with the sky. Very good landscape.

Having 1D's for the last few years the changes have been subtle, so it's been easy to swap. The 5D I bought as a backup a few months ago, now that been a challenge because i'm us to the 1D setup. you should find the swap over to the 1D easy as you'll be able to change the functions so that the knobs and dials work the same way as on your 5D, instead of completely opposite

Thanks Rob - awesome in pano. You can "feel" the cold and the wind, and considering that it is already 88 degrees out here in Peoria. Hope to see you soon.

Thanks Jase!!! I'm loving my Mark II...now I just really have to learn my 1D Mark III; how long did it take you to get used to the completely different layout??

Not a donor anymore so I can't see this in the pano - but what I can see is that this is a breath-taking shot. Nice tones and great capture of the snow blowing in off of the mountains.
