Thanks Jeff glad you like it, there were no enhancements to these colours that’s just the way it was. :-)

Hi Sylvia,
This is such a nice photo of Rocky that I thought I would try to bring the details out a little for you...hope you don't mind. All I've done here is adjust the contrast and shadow/highlight then sharpened it a little.

Rocky is so sweet and looks the image of my Socks!

Thanks Sylvia.... :-)
I'm quite near the Yorkshire border here we can almost see it, and we are only fifteen miles from Skipton.
It must be something to do with Pendle Hill because we get the most amazing sunsets here, especially in late summer and Autumn.

The packing is almost done, we can't move at the moment for all the boxes. My cat Socks is loving it, the house has turned into one big playground for her!

No not yet Jan.....
We are waiting for the solicitor finalizing the contract for the sale of our house, once that’s done (probably four or five weeks) then we will move. At the moment we have a house full of packing boxes so it no longer feels like home, I will be glad when it's done and we are there!

Yes it's a great concern there I know Tony.
As they continue to create more and more golf courses the situation can only get worse..... There just doesn't seem to be any effort going into educating the tourists to save water, and most of them are not aware there is a shortage!

I shall of course do my very best to conserve that most precious of resources when we relocate there in about a months time.

So sorry for the late reply Marta, we are in the process of moving to Spain to live so I am up to my eyes in packing boxes and don't have much free time.

I think you did a perfect job of capturing the atmosphere of the Alhambra, I never manage to capture the tranquility that you caught in this shot. Very well done!

Very nicely done, I like the sharpness of the piano keys contrasting with the soft focus of the rose....and its my favourite colour too!

You should see the games she is playing now Jeff.....
We are re-locating to Spain in a few weeks and the house is just full of boxes. She now has a new set of climbing frames and launch pads to jump off! :-)

I agree with you Jeff, the sunflower does glow.

You struck just the right balance in this shot, there is just enough light in the darkness to hint at the details of the room and just enough window to let use feel the warmth of the sun outside.
It reminds me so much of my first visit to Seville and the mile upon mile of sunflowers growing there...

When an image evokes memories like that it must be good!
This gets a very elusive 7 from me.

A very artistic composition Tony, it has an old world look to it.
I'm trying to remember the name of the trumpet flower.....it will no doubt come to me in the early hours of the morning then by breakfasr time I will have forgotten it again!

A very striking landscape Danny. I like this very much, the inclusion of so much of the cloud formation gives it a very dramatic feel.

I can feel the heat!

Nice to see this sunflower in full bloom! Here in the UK it's been so wet and cold that there aren't many flowers about just yet...... Can't wait for my move to Spain in a few weeks time.

I agree with Tony but must admit that like you I also sometimes would rather leave things in the shot, especially when in Spain as sometimes there are so many things one would have to clone out. ;)

Thank you for your wonderful comments on my work, truly appreciated. :)

Jan...
Her royal highness was feeling a bit miffed..... With the move to Spain only a few weeks away now her palace has lost its usual splendor. What is even worse is that she keeps being brought large cardboard boxes, but each time she leaves them some silly human fills them up with very uninteresting things in order to spoil her fun!

If all that’s not bad enough she has now had to go through the indignity of going to the vets for a PASSPORT!!!!.... She was heard muttering...'what the hell does a princess cat need with a passport'?
She is getting rather excited though about the special box just for her that she has heard her humans talking about….. She can't work out though what her new special box has to do with the big silver bird she hears the humans talking about in low voices, and she wonders if they are going to put the silver bird in the special box for her as a treat for being such a good little princess and not biting the vet.

Thanks for your comments on my work, sorry I haven't had the time to comment on yours....I am moving to Spain so all my time at the moment is spent packing boxes!
