not me, that's for sure!  )..i have to laugh..i posted a waterfall that i shot today and all i had was a camera and a rock for a tripod..i wish i'd thought to pack half of what you had when i went climbing over that barbed wire fence..LOL..
Anyway, you composed this very thoughtfully and well. Including the bridge along the top of the falls was a great idea as it keeps the eye moving around the image, along the row of trees and down to the falls. The light is so nice on the trees at the far side (though the rocks appear just a bit over-exposed) and balance the darkness on the near side. i especially like the dark rock and tree on the left. They feel so cool and damp to my tired eyes. i'm not sure i like the lavendar tones in the water. First of all because lavendar water is so unnatural when the rest of your image is realistically hued and second because it clashes somewhat with the orange/brown tones in the top part of the falls. A beautiful spot though and you have captured it well. Best regards from Costa Rica: kat~

Hi Tim, thanks for your comments. Yes, you were right a "Lensmate" is just a converter to allow me to use filters on the front of the Canon G5! I like this photo you have here. It seems a little soft to my eyes but that adds a little to the attraction. I love the colours and agree with the other comment that this must have been a wonderful place to sit and meditate. This beholder likes the beauty of the trees, but it seems like the composition lacks a place to rest one's eye. It must've been a beautiful spot to contemplate, though. One of those memorable visual experiences, I'll bet. Nice photo.

VERY nice shot, Tim! I think I'm not very popular on these boards because I seldom give 7 stars to anyone's photos, unless they're exceptional in all respects. This one misses for me just a tad because it feels like the horizon (as measured from the river surface) is tilted, ever-so-slightly to the right. Am I wrong? Thanks for your comments on my Iceland Poppies. I like your gallery a lot. Nice work everywhere.
