Sue:

First awesome!!! Second . . . Look at Mel's shot that just won a BiP for a thought on this - http://www.usefilm.com/image/1284563.html. Just for future reference. Instead of f/4.5 to f/5.6, you might consider f/22 or so. THAT aperture setting will pull out sunrays!! In this case it would have been even MORE beautiful.

Understand . . . just something for you to consider . . . this shot IS beautiful! Also . . . I think the horizon is level . . . though I see why some might find it deceptive.

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Thanks for the comment Monique... did check out the horizon in PS & decided this was straight... really hard to judge here though with the way the water curves around the distant shore.

Do appreciate your input, may have another look.

Keep well & bright

Another nice shot..and, would you believe it, I have one very similar :-)
It's a shame that the beam of light from the sun highlighting the buoy isn't more pronounced - I thought you'd managed to capture it more distinctly, but I may be thinking of a different shot...somehow I have the feeling you took a few here ;)

I like your perspective here, Sue, you've got a good view of the sun coming throught he trees behind the monuments, for a very atmospheric mood.

It's hard to imagine living here, Sue, but our ancestors somehow survived. Good capture of the details of it.

Well seen and captured, Sue! I like the dark and grainy background, it adds a mysterious sense to the shot.

Here's the big lineup near where I live... http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=130342
There's more behind me, this shot was taken about halfway through the array where there's a place I could park the car.

Thank you Doyle & you presume right... I have slightly tweaked the levels in PS though, just to help bring out the best here :) The stars though... all mother natures work & perfectly placed...

Even in death there remains beauty, even if it takes time to come through in our thoughts.

Hope you are well Doyle x

Thanks Jeroen... this windfarm was rather spread out so 3 in line was all I could get from this angle... Took a lot of time, patience & luck getting this one so can understand the difficulty of trying to get 20 of them in sync... good luck with that & if you ever get it let me know.. I will be the first to nominate you for a well deserved award :)

Keep well & bright

Bless... as if I would cheat like that!!! lol

I have edited this to give it a nice effect in PS.... original shot was rather dull & noisey due to the lighting conditions & the digital zoom... think it's added nicely though :) xXx
