Thanks Doyle, I think what is happening is that where the light is falling (I under exposed) is where the movement is (ocean, shoreline and clouds), normally I would get more light on the hard objects which would sharpen the whole image, this is nearly a negative image of what I usually do and has given this different result.

Good speed on this Sophie giving a slight blur to the outer edges of the airbourne snow. Great idea and well taken, hopefully you got it on the first try.

Leonie I really like how you pull up detail in the foreground to give the image a feel, I tend to do the same thing to put the body of the image in context, I can feel the warmth and smell the bark...well seen.

You have an eye for great shots, I would have played with the colours, levelled the horizon in the frame...all that sort of retentive stuff but it would have taken away from a great candid timeless image. Well done.
