Great colour and detail on the flowers Ian. I do think the contrast is a bit high, loosing the detail in the shadow areas. Otherwise great!

Hi Ian,

I like the idea and the composition on this one. Maybe just taken the wrong time of the day, as the light is very harsh. Try the same thing again but at sundown/sunrise, when the natural light is a bit softer and has that wonderful golden glow. Well Done.

Cheers,
Stef

Hi Ian,

Excellent shot! Lovely and colourful with a good strong composition. One thing though(not trying to be over critical, its already good as it is), try to have the focus sharp on the tip of the blue pencil, that will make it even better. Still, very well done!

Groete,
Stef

Hello Ian,

As ek dit nie mis het nie, is dit my niggie(Lieze) die!? Lovely portrait, but I have to agree with Keith regarding the crop, take it a bit in on the left and the bottom. That table edge is a bit disturbing. Other than that its a very good shot Well Done!

Cheers,
Stef

Beautifull portrait Ian. Only thing i would do is crop it by bringing the bottom left hand corner up and in. Well done. Cheers Keith

Good DOF and appealing colours that I surely don´t find on any birds up here in Scandinavia:-) A tad blurry, but nothing that ruins this fine birdportrait.
Best wishes

Quite an unusual crop, Ian - I like the emotion on the girls face - well done for including the hand, adding another dimention of subtlety - IMO you cropped the image too tightly, putting too much emphasis on the horse's forehead - good choice, the B&W version - Regards

I think the collar is for tracking. There arent man lions in the Addo Elephant Park, so they have to keep track of them.

Lucky find! Wonder why she's wearing a colar. IMO you could have cropped away the blurry bush on the left. Nice detail in the shade. Welcome to Usefilm! Regards
