This is fantastic! The stones lead your eye right down the stream. It makes me feel like I am there. I really like the detail in the first rock. Great shot!!!

Hi Tim,

I really like this shot! It brings back memories of Minnesota autumns. I think that the starburst works on this shot, however I might have liked to see it a little higher in the sky as it presently draws my eye to the bush which would have otherwise been hidden in the background. Otherwise, the lighting, composition, etc are great!

Thanks for the kind comments on my photos!

Good forest scene! The colors are nice, perhaps a bit over saturated. I'm not sure about that tree in the foreground; It kind of steals the show from the bridge.

Great shot. Good job at keeping detail in the falls and not exposing for too long. Great angle too...

Another great shot, just like the rest of your portfolio. The autumn colors add a lot to this pic. I like the contrast between the green and the orange...

I like the proportion of the brown and green parts of this picture. Nevertheéess I think it is a little bit oversaturated.

Great color and saturation. Very sharp. My comments for areas of improvement deal with composition. My eye is immediately drawn to the bridge. My eyes move from left to right and right to left. There is not much of your photo to be discovered with this eye movement. It limits the dimension of the scene. I'd have experimented with a sharper angle of the bridge moving through the frame or from this vantage point back up a little and taking a portrait format vs. landscape. Tough to say what might have worked better being the armchair photographer. I love the colors in this though.

Tim, shoes off wet feet could have been the answer. You are right about the tree and the picture looks a little over sharpened. By standing in the creek (if that was possible) could also have included some water to the scene. A slow shutter speed to blur the water, if camera was on a tripod, may have given you a different aspect.

This is a beautiful spot to photograph. It looks like the time of day wasn't helping you here. The shadows are pretty stark hiding the waterfall. The light is pretty harsh creating some glare in addition to the shadows. Very well framed, but the lighting really wasn't great. I think this is something that even a ND filter would have a tough time fixing. Waiting for lighting near sunset would be ideal here.

Spectacular scene! Great colors and lighting. My only quibble with the compo is that the horizon isn't level, but maybe that's just me. Nice shot - Wish I'd been there myself!

I've tried to capture this view myself and never have been happy with what I got. The color and lighting here are excellent! The eucalyptus trees I don't think help anyone taking this shot, but I'm anti-branch Great coastal view.

Lovely! I actually like the overhanging branch - it adds balance to the picture. The colours in the water are great too.
