Thanks. Keith. I'd like to take you up on that. The wife and I go abroad (from Japan, where we live) once a year and last year we went to Scotland. Must have flown over Newcastle. I'd love to visit some of my old haunts, and have a jug of Nyucassel Broon (Ahem, phonetic spelling there. Geordie is a bit difficult when it comes to spelling!)

Wow, Newcastle looks a bit different from when I lived in Jarrow, 1959-'60. Wish I could get there to capture this amazing bridge. Artful choice of angle makes this a great shot!

Presented with surrealism with higher proportion of sky with dramatic clouds and because of the choice of monochrome.. as though the whole place is floating somewhere..
