Most hundters go after the biggest animal with the biggest rack. This hunter went after the oldest and found great-great-grandfather.

Just a quick comment to say that people do go back and look at the photos we posted back in history. Darryl

Welcome Hasan, You have a wonderful photo here. Great sharpness in focus, wonderful DOF, colors are brilliant, and the use of a star filter did a wonderful job of diffusing the bright light. Fantastic work! Darryl

This crazy cat seemed to do a lot of sleeping. He was on his side, stomach, back, curled up, laying srtight but mostly sleeping during the 7 hours we were at the animal reserve. It was a fun day with all the animals. Darryl

Beautiful use of shutter speed to get the water effect and DOF works really well. This is a very tranquil setting. This would be a wonderful place to live. Darryl

Wow Gene!! What a great moment. With the lense you used, you had to be pretty close to this cat. I'm not sure I would want to take a photo like this even with bars. I live in Northern California and there was a man attacked by one of these cats a couple of years ago. Fantastic Catch. Darryl

Avi, This is an outstanding portrait. You have caught her childhood beauty and innocents. The contrast with the B&W carpet and the DOF really make this a great photo. Congrats

Interesting photo Jerry. When I had a garden, we called these tomato worms. They could eat up the leaves of a tomato plant way too quick. Not my favorite worm. Your photo is great. Good color, pin sharp focus, and good use of DOF. Well done. Darryl

Hello Michele,
I was looking through your photos and happened accross this photo of and indian chief. You have many wonderful photos on your pages.

I realize this is 8 years after your posting but I like to play with photos. You had indicated that you would like to see the Chief photo with a black background. I played around with it and wanted to send a copy to you. I hope you enjoy it.

Lee, You have great reason to be proud of both the photo and the moment. You were in the right place, right time, right light, right camera, right lense. Great job.

I did have the chance to see the Endeavor space shuttle arrive at Los Angeles but no photo ops. About 3 months later I did go to the museum and see it up close. That was fun.

Again, congratulations on a job well done. Darryl
