Ahh ha ha... you're right! I didn't notice that the blurred background looks "vaporous". May have to do some fixin'!! :-)

Oh boy, do I remember chinooks. What a relief after a long period of cold... I always loved the arch-work in the skies too. Great shot! BTW, Rainy is in Penang and will return home at the end of the week ---> with a huge mittful of photos. Guess what? I will be back in Alberta at the end of this month -- in Banff for a week, then driving down to Lethbridge. I'm excited about spending some time photographing my "old stomping grounds".

I like this, Glenn. I know others have commented on it's darkness, but growing up in mountains much like this, I think the darkness is an accurate reflection of the low angle of the sun this time of year. The elements are also placed nicely in this!

Macy, the concept of this shot is very good! You may want to adjust the blurred components so that they're not so random and clean up the noise in the sky using Neat Image. I did a little playing around and attached the result. I hope you don't mind. :-)

What an amazing wildlife capture! The falls in the background, the birds hovering and waiting for leftovers and the tack-sharp detail of the bear -- perfect in all ways!! I must spend some time in your portfolio, which I just discovered!
